Hello everybody,

welcome to my official homepage. Over the years, you have given me many names - Soulsister No. 1, the First Lady of Funk, Marvellous Marva and Miss Excitement. But most importantly I am Marva Whitney, and I'm still going strong. It makes me happy to know that there are still many soul fans out there who know about and appreciate real soul music ... music that touches you, moves you and makes you dance. And this, my dear friends, is all I wanna do. For those of you who have already seen me perform, thank you for making me who I am today. And for the many among you who will see me do my thing sometime in the near furture, I wanna thank you for your open mind. You can be sure that I and my very funky bands, Osaka Monaurail, Push and the Soulpower Allstars, won't disappoint you. That being said, I hope that you will enjoy my website.
